eQuantic AI Expose is a browser extension from eQuantic Tech that marks text and images carrying signals of AI generation, and says which signal it found. It is provided free of charge. By installing it you accept these terms.
What it claims, and what it does not
Detection is probabilistic. A mark is evidence, not proof, and a page with no marks is not evidence that a person wrote it. Only a signature left by a generator, such as an invisible marker or a provenance manifest, is reported as fact, and even then it points to a tool rather than to whoever typed.
Do not use the extension as the basis of a decision about a person, such as grading, hiring, discipline or a public accusation. What you do with what it shows you is yours to answer for.
Licence
You may install and use the extension for your own purposes, personal or professional. The software is proprietary: the licence that ships with the package grants no right to copy, redistribute, modify or reverse engineer it, beyond what the law allows regardless of agreement.
Third-party material inside the package keeps its own licence, listed in the notices that travel with it.
"eQuantic", the eQuantic symbol and "AI Expose" are trade marks of eQuantic Tech, and these terms grant no right to use them.
Acceptable use
Do not use the extension to break the law, to harass anyone, or to work around the security of a site you do not own.
No warranty
The extension is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the extent the law allows. It may mark text a person wrote, and it will miss text a model wrote.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, eQuantic Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, or for loss of profit, data or opportunity, arising from use of the extension or from any decision taken on what it showed. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including rights that consumer protection law gives you and that cannot be waived.
Changes and availability
The extension changes over time, and updates arrive through the Chrome Web Store. It may be withdrawn. If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
Governing law
The laws of Brazil govern these terms, and the courts of Rio de Janeiro are the venue, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of a consumer resident in another country.

O que ele afirma, e o que não afirma
A detecção é probabilística. Uma marca é indício, não prova, e uma página sem marca nenhuma não é prova de que uma pessoa a escreveu. Só uma assinatura deixada pelo gerador, como um marcador invisível ou um manifesto de proveniência, é reportada como fato, e mesmo aí ela aponta para uma ferramenta, não para quem digitou.
Não use a extensão como base de uma decisão sobre uma pessoa, como avaliar um aluno, contratar, punir ou acusar publicamente. O que você faz com o que ela mostra é responsabilidade sua.
Licença
Você pode instalar e usar a extensão para os seus fins, pessoais ou profissionais. O software é proprietário: a licença que acompanha o pacote não dá direito de copiar, redistribuir, modificar nem fazer engenharia reversa, além do que a lei permitir independentemente de contrato.
O material de terceiros dentro do pacote mantém a licença dele, listada nos avisos que viajam junto.
"eQuantic", o símbolo da eQuantic e "AI Expose" são marcas da eQuantic Tech, e estes termos não dão direito de uso sobre elas.
Uso aceitável
Não use a extensão para violar a lei, para assediar alguém, nem para contornar a segurança de um site que não é seu.
Sem garantia
A extensão é oferecida como está, sem garantia de espécie alguma, expressa ou implícita, na medida em que a lei permitir. Ela pode marcar um texto escrito por uma pessoa, e vai deixar passar texto escrito por um modelo.
Responsabilidade
Na medida em que a lei permitir, a eQuantic Tech não responde por dano indireto, incidental, especial ou consequente, nem por lucro cessante, perda de dados ou de oportunidade, decorrentes do uso da extensão ou de decisão tomada a partir do que ela mostrou. Nada aqui exclui responsabilidade que a lei não deixe excluir, incluindo direitos que a legislação de defesa do consumidor garante a você e dos quais não se pode abrir mão.
Mudanças e disponibilidade
A extensão muda com o tempo, e as atualizações chegam pela Chrome Web Store. Ela pode ser retirada. Se estes termos mudarem, a data do topo muda com eles.
Lei aplicável
Estes termos são regidos pela lei brasileira, e o foro é o do Rio de Janeiro, sem prejuízo dos direitos que a lei garante a um consumidor residente em outro país.
